In all the hustle and bustle of dance season, it's tough to remember everything you need to help you perform your best! With a lot of help from other dance moms and our own collaborators, here are a few helpful hints so that you're more prepared.

Don't wait...make a list now!

Start your list of "must-haves" now, before the dance competition season is in full swing. Most studios provide a cheat sheet to get you started, but let's face it...it's not all-inclusive.

Know your competition schedule.

We can express enough how important it is to know times and dates of your dance competitions. Quite often, these details change so check often and be sure to make notes appropriately.

Common Dance Competition Necessities 

• Costumes
• Shoes
• Blanket
• Hair bush and hair accessories (don't forget hair pins!)
• Make-up and remover/wipes
• Small towels
• Hand sanitizer (or wet wipes)
• First-aid kits
• Water
• Good snacks (trail mix, nuts and other proteins)
• Camera

You have your Closet Trolley, what about other stuff!

• Stool
• Mirror
• Garment Bags
• Cosmetic Cases
• Hangers
